Grandad - no words will ever compensate the heartbreak your loss has had within the family. It goes without saying how much I adored you, but I know you and everyone else knew that. You truly were one in a million who fought very hard till the end. I will miss texting you every week telling you what I’ve been up to (hoping I wouldn’t get a row for my weekly antics). We were so similar in many ways and that’s why I always adored and loved you so much. I will never ever forget you, and I can only hope I can bring my children into the world to be as respectful and polite as you’ve bought your own family up to be. My heart will never be as full again - my best friend and my grandad all in one. I promise to look after gran, just as well as you did for many, many years. You really will be a massive loss to all of those around. Love you so much. Rest easy big man xxx
